Die Trimurti (/trɪˈmʊərti/;[1]Sanskrit: त्रिमूर्ति trimūrti, "drie vorme") is die driedubbele godheid in Hindoeïsme[2][3][4][5] waarin die kosmiese funksies skepping, onderhoud en vernietiging verpersoonlik word deur ’n triade van gode: gewoonlik Brahma die skepper, Vishnu die onderhouer en Shiva die vernietiger/vervormer.[6][7] Individuele denominasies se weergawes kan egter verskil. Wanneer al drie gode van die Trimurti in ’n enkele avatar geïnkarneer word, is die avatar bekend as Dattatreya.[8]
