Dennis Gabor CBE FRS [1] (Hongaars: Gábor Desnes, 5 Junie 19009 Februarie 1979) was 'n Hongaarse-Britse[2] elektriese ingenieur en fisikus, bekend vir die uitvinding van holografie, waarvoor hy later die Nobelprys vir fisika van 1971 ontvang het.[3][4][5][6][7][8] Gábor Desnes College in Boedapest, Hongarye, is vernoem na hom ter ere van sy werk.
