Floruit

Floruit (IFA: ˈflɔərjʉ.ɪt, afgekort fl. of soms flor.), is ’n Latynse woord wat "hy het floreer" beteken. Dit dui die tydperk aan waarin iemand gelewe het of aktief was. In Afrikaans kan die woord as 'n selfstandige naamwoord gebruik word om die tydperk aan te dui wanneer iemand "floreer" het.^[1]
