The 2024 Chicago Cubs season was the 153rd season of the Chicago Cubs franchise, the 149th in the National League, and the Cubs' 109th season at Wrigley Field. The Cubs were led by first-year manager Craig Counsell and play as members of Major League Baseball's National League Central.
On September 21, the Cubs were eliminated from playoff contention for the fourth consecutive season after losing to the Washington Nationals.[1]
