Alhambra (/ælˈhæmbrə/ , /ɑːlˈhɑːmbrə/ , Spanish: [aˈlambɾa]; from "Alhambra") is a city located in the western San Gabriel Valley region of Los Angeles County, California, United States, approximately 8 miles (13 km) from the Downtown Los Angeles civic center.
