This category contains immigrants of the Third Aliyah, a period disrupted by World War I. This wave lasted from 1919 until 1923. The migration was driven by factors such as the October Revolution in Russia, subsequent pogroms in Russia, Poland, and Hungary, as well as the British conquest of Palestine and the issuance of the Balfour Declaration.
