Christiane Maria Heideh Amanpour[1] CBE (/ˌkrɪstʃiˈɑːn ˌɑːmənˈpʊər/ ; Persian: کریستیان امان‌پور, romanized: Kristiane Amānpur; born 12 January 1958[2]) is a British-Iranian journalist and television host. Amanpour is the Chief International Anchor for CNN and host of CNN International's nightly interview program Amanpour and CNN's The Amanpour Hour on Saturdays. She also hosts Amanpour & Company on PBS.[3]
