The Democratic Party (DP; Korean민주당; Hanja民主黨; RRMinjudang; MRMinjutang) was a liberal political party in South Korea. Formerly named United Democratic Party (Korean통합민주당; Hanja統合民主黨; RRTonghapminjudang; UDP), it was the main opposition party in the 18th Assembly. In late 2011, it merged into the Democratic United Party.
