Draft:Aragats Cosmic Ray Research Station

  • Comment: There are still lots of peacock terms in the draft. Please go through and make sure the draft is in a neutral tone before resubmitting. Shadow311 (talk) 16:08, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
  • Comment: Sorry, but this is completely inappropriate for an encyclopaedia, riddled with peacock terms and hyperbole throughout, and sounding like a script for some corporate promo video or similar. Also, references like "Fig. 10" suggest that this has been copypasted from some sort of existing source (especially when there aren't even ten illustrations in this draft!). Furthermore, it seems that at least some of the sources listed (not cited) in the 'References' section are primary and/or close to the subject, therefore notability may also need further scrutiny.
For now, rewrite in purely factual, neutral tone, removing all puffery and embellishment. Summarise the contents wherever possible, as this is too verbose as it stands. And make sure that everything you say can be supported by independent and reliable sources, preferably secondary. DoubleGrazing (talk) 13:34, 28 February 2024 (UTC)

The Aragats Cosmic Ray Research Station was founded in 1943 by Artem and Abraham Alikhanians, during World War II, to study cosmic ray and particle physics. It is located on Mount Aragats in Armenia, at an elevation of 3200 meters, near Kari Lake. The station's coordinates are 40.4713N and 44.1819E, making it a prime location for its research.
