Whittonia was founded in October, 2021 by Dr. Kevin F. Whitten.
Located in Cape Forchu, Nova Scotia, it is 3.5 Kms from the Cape Forchu Lighthouse and 10 Kms from the city of Yarmouth.
The property spans 5.5 acres and is renowned for its rugged coastal seaside views of the Atlantic Ocean in addition to spectacular sunsets.
It is not uncommon to catch sightings of whales, porpoises and dolphins looking out from its shores.
On clear nights, the expansive views of the stars and constellations have thrilled visitors from Malaysia, Somalia, Mexico and South Korea.
At the forefront of the recycling movement, Whittonia prides itself on its innovative recycling facilities as it strives to maintain a carbon neutral footprint.
In addition, the property is a listed movie production site as well as a "think tank" facility in conjunction with Whitten Caribbean University.
Whittonia's facilities include a Korean Karaoke Restaurant, a 150 course golf simulator and an extensive recreational centre with pool, table tennis and shuffleboard. It is also the home of "Kev's Burger Shack", the last vestige of the 60's California surf scene.
Onsite transportation includes the "Zuber", a free ride program to assist disabled and impaired visitors.
Also located on the property is the "Oh-Town" Conference Centre which includes accommodation, an extensive hygiene facility and deluxe sleeping villas.
Among the property's abundant wildlife are red squirrels, ruby throated hummingbirds, white tailed deer, seals, blue jays and the common loon.
