Kamatero (Greek: Καματερó [kamateˈro]; officially Καματερόν[2]) is a town and a suburb in the central-western part of the Athens agglomeration, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Agioi Anargyroi-Kamatero, of which it is a municipal unit.[3] It is located about 8 kilometres north of Athens city centre.
