Leyla Alasgar gizi Mammadbeyova, née Zeynalova[1] (Azerbaijani: Leyla Ələsgər qızı Məmmədbəyova; 17 September 1909 – 4 July 1989), was the first Azerbaijani female aviator.[2] She also was the first female pilot of Transcaucasia, of Southern Europe and of Southwest Asia.[3][4]
