The National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (abbreviated as NTUST or TaiwanTech) is a public university located in Taipei, Taiwan.

TaiwanTech was established in 1974 as the National Taiwan Institute of Technology (國立臺灣工業技術學院), as the first and the leading higher education institution of its kind within Taiwan's university of science and technology educational system.[2][3][4] NTUST and National Taiwan University as well as National Taiwan Normal University formed an academic league named National Taiwan University System.[5] In addition, the number of international master's and doctoral students at NTUST is the largest in Taiwan.[6]

TaiwanTech enrolled 5,593 undergraduates and 6,079 graduate students in 2023.[7] The university's 14 departments and 24 graduate programs are divided into the following 7 colleges, College of Engineering, College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, School of Management, College of Design, College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, College of Intellectual Property Studies, and Honors College.[8]

Taiwan Tech has five campuses; the Gongguan Campus is its main campus, located at Daan, situated in the south of Taipei, covering an area of approximately 10 hectares (25 acres).[9]
