In Greek and Roman mythology, Nephele (/ˈnɛfəliː/; Ancient Greek: Νεφέλη, romanized: Nephélē, lit. 'cloud, mass of clouds';[1] corresponding to Latin nebula) is a cloud nymph who figures prominently in the stories of Ixion and Phrixus and Helle.[2]
