Nicholas Alexander Veliotes (October 28, 1928 – May 14, 2024) was a United States Foreign Service Officer and diplomat.[1] He served as United States Ambassador to Jordan (1978–81) and Egypt (1984–86). He was a member of the American Academy of Diplomacy and Council on Foreign Relations.[2]
