"Gypsy" is a song by Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira, from her eighth studio album She Wolf (2009). The song was chosen as the fourth and final single from the album by Epic Records. It was released internationally on 26 March 2013; in the United States, "Gypsy" was released as a CD single on 12 April 2010. The Spanish-language translation "Gitana" was released as a digital promotional single on 1 March 2010. Written by Shakira, Amanda Ghost, Carl Sturken and Evan Rogers, the lyrics of the song describe one's life travelling as a "gypsy". The song draws heavy influences from Indian and Middle Eastern music.

Upon its release, "Gypsy" received generally positive reviews from music critics, many of whom complimented its production. The single was commercially successful and peaked within the top 10 of the charts of countries including Germany, Hungary, Mexico and Spain. In the United States, "Gypsy" peaked at number 65 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, while "Gitana" reached number six on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart. The Buena Vista Social Club was a members club in Havana, Cuba that held dances and musical activities, becoming a popular location for musicians to meet and play during the 1940s. In the 1990s, nearly 50 years after the club was closed, it inspired a recording made by Cuban musician Juan de Marcos González and American guitarist Ry Cooder with traditional Cuban musicians, some of whom were veterans who had performed at the club during the height of its popularity.

The recording, named Buena Vista Social Club after the Havana institution, became an international success, and the ensemble was encouraged to perform with a full line-up in Amsterdam in 1998. German director Wim Wenders captured the performance on film, followed by a second concert in Carnegie Hall, New York City for a documentary that included interviews with the musicians conducted in Havana. Wenders' film, also called Buena Vista Social Club, was released to critical acclaim, receiving an Academy Award nomination for Best Documentary feature and winning numerous accolades including Best Documentary at the European Film Awards.

Irreemplazable is the first extended play (EP) by American recording artist Beyoncé. Comprising Spanish, English and Spanglish re-recordings of songs from her second studio album B'Day, it featured as a bonus disc for the United States deluxe edition of B'Day, before being released separately on August 28, 2007 by Columbia Records. Copies purchased from Walmart also contain a DVD featuring Beyoncé's concert and television performances and behind-the-scenes footage.

Irreemplazable received a mixed review from Allmusic's Andy Kellman, who criticized its lack of content and the fact that the EP was released several months after the deluxe edition of B'Day. Irreemplazable peaked at number 105 on the Billboard 200, and has sold 57,000 copies in the United States. It also appeared on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, the Top Latin Albums and the Latin Pop Albums charts.
