Robert Joseph Wittman[1] (born February 3, 1959)[citation needed] is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative for Virginia's 1st congressional district since 2007. The district contains portions of the Richmond suburbs and Hampton Roads area, as well as the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula.[2] He is a member of the Republican Party.[3]
