Shane Beamer (born March 31, 1977) is an American college football coach and former player who is currently the head football coach at the University of South Carolina. Beamer is the highest-paid coach in school history.[1] He is the first South Carolina coach to win back-to-back games against top-10 teams,[2] the first to win three straight games over AP top-25 teams,[3] and the first FBS coach since 1978 to win twice by 20+ points as a 20+ point underdog.[4]

Beamer is the son of former Virginia Tech Hokies football head coach Frank Beamer.
