The Speaker of the House of Representatives in Nepal is the presiding officer in the Nepal's lower house of parliament, the House of Representatives. The position of Speaker holds significant importance in the legislative process, presiding over the proceedings, maintaining order, and ensuring fair debate and discussion. The current speaker is Dev Raj Ghimire since 19 January 2023.[1]
