This template uses Lua: |
This template is used to tag pages for speedy deletion under the speedy deletion criteria, specifically CSD U5. There is a separate template for each criterion – see the table to the right.
This template places the page into the categories: Candidates for speedy deletion, and Candidates for speedy deletion as blatant NOTWEBHOST violations.
Use this when the page should not exist anywhere on Wikipedia under any circumstances (e.g., someone drafting an online petition with no connection to Wikipedia, or kids posting their home addresses).
Do not use this just because you heard the false rumor that editors can't use their main user pages as sandboxes, or because you thought there was a rule banning editors from writing about themselves on their userpages. These uses are permitted (as long as it's not 'excessive').
The template should be placed at the top of the page to be deleted.
