This family is not royal. Royal family is headed by King and/or Queen and head of such family (and his spouse if male) bears the style Majesty, while other members bear the style Royal Highness. Members of this family bear the style Highness, and therefore this is a Princely or Ducal Family (or maybe we can call it Sheikhal Family?). The point is: this is not a royal family. the family is royal research anywhere on the internet. Royal families of the UAE style themselves differently then all western royal families and most middle eastern families too, its how they do it. Emir is the title for the ruler but as he never uses it and instead uses sheikh thats why i used it but i have now changed it, the royal family of qatar styles themselves the same. I've styles them HH as there has been more research found of that title being used then have been HRH both are used but i use the most common one. Just because they style themselves differently doesnt mean they are not royalty AliaBuhler (talk) 12:08, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
MOS:HONORIFIC specifies that honorific prefixes such as HH and HRH should not be used except as part of the text ("xxx is entitled to use the honorific prefix yyy due to his position"). Pol098 (talk) 18:19, 16 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
