The Tigre people (Tigre: ትግረ, romanized: tigre and Tigre: ትግሬ, romanized: tigrē) are an ethnic group indigenous to Eritrea. They mainly inhabit the lowlands and northern highlands of Eritrea, with a small population in Sudan.
