Ube (宇部市, Ube-shi) is a city located in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan. As of 31 May 2023, the city had an estimated population of 159,256 in 80,010 households and a population density of 560 persons per km2.[2] The total area of the city is 286.65 square kilometres (110.68 sq mi).
