ABSTRACT

I am Askarion (/ass•kɑr•ee•on/), an amateur editor of the English Wikipedia (and Simple English Wikipedia, on occasion). I have made 2,600+ edits since registering in early 2020. My two main areas of focus are the U.S. Supreme Court (expanding w/ sources, copy edits, analysis) and entertainment (episode pages, plot summaries, critical reception). In short, I mostly do random WikiDragon work on whatever articles interest me that week, telling myself that I'll eventually nominate them for GA or FAC and then inevitably never do.

Also, I can make a killer bowl of mac and cheese.

CURRENT PROJECTS

At the moment, my three articles of biggest concern are Shanghaied (SpongeBob SquarePants), which is my current Good Article project; Texas v. Johnson, which used to be in pretty bad shape (there was a time where editors would literally argue with the dissenting justices, live on the page); and Utah monolith. I'm also working on long-term renovation projects on articles like Police dog, List of pedestrian circumnavigators, and New Jersey v. T. L. O..
