I love helping New Wikipedia pages. And your thank you messages motivates me😊

I usually wander through New pages feed and randomly click an article, usually the ones created by editors with few edits count and observe if I can add something & do that accordingly.

I also try to learn and participate in AfD process. Unless convinced more than enough I am more inclined in an inclusion of article rather than throwing it out.
