Visa requirements for Armenian citizens are administrative entry restrictions by the authorities of other states placed on citizens of Armenia. As of July 2024, Armenian citizens had visa-free or visa on arrival access to 70 countries and territories, ranking the Armenian passport 75th in terms of travel freedom according to the Henley Passport Index.[1]
Armenian citizens in other countries also can benefit from the mobility rights arrangements within the Commonwealth of Independent States and the rules of the single market of the Eurasian Economic Union.
On 22 July 2024, the European Commission officially agreed to launch visa liberalization talks with Armenia.[2] Once negotiations conclude, Armenian citizens will be able to travel to the Schengen Area visa-free.
