Vyshyvanka (Ukrainian: вишиванка [ʋeʃeˈʋankɐ]; Belarusian: вышыванка, romanized: vyšyvanka [vɨʂɨˈvanka]) is a casual name for the embroidered shirt in Ukrainian[1][2][3][4] and Belarusian[5][6][7] national costumes. Ukrainian vyshyvankas are distinguished by embroidery features specific to Ukrainian embroidery.[2]
