Prospective Articles for Creation reviewers:

If you want to start reviewing drafts as part of the AfC process, check that you meet the criteria below, and make a request on the talk page to be added to the list. Admins and New Page Reviewers do not need to add themselves, but they need to enable AFCH in their gadget preferences.

Criteria:

Reviewers must have:

  • a Wikipedia account at least 90 days old.
  • a minimum of 500 undeleted edits to articles (this is not the same as total number of edits).
  • read and understood the reviewing instructions.
  • a demonstrated understanding of the policies and guidelines mentioned in the reviewing instructions, including the various notability guidelines.
  • evidence of understanding the deletion policy (experience in areas such as CSD/AfD/PROD or page curation, while not mandatory, are beneficial).
  • a willingness and ability to respond in a timely manner to questions about their reviews.

Editors whose usernames are not on the list are strongly cautioned not to review AfC submissions.

Only administrators, new page reviewers and users listed on this page will be able to use the AfC helper script.

If you are interested in becoming an AfC reviewer, but do not yet meet the criteria, do not sign up now, but come back later when you qualify. In the meantime, you are welcome to familiarize yourself with the process by browsing through the submissions and help pages and observing the work of the reviewers. Our reviewers will gladly answer any questions you may have, both before and after you sign up. Click here to ask a question about AFC reviewing.

If you want to participate in this WikiProject, please click the button below, and an admin will review your request to see if you meet the qualifications.

Participants who have not carried out any reviews in more than 6 months, or have not edited at all in the last two months, are considered inactive and may be moved to the inactive reviewers list.
