Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Members

Welcome to WikiProject Football. In order to join the main project as a member, just add your name and other data to the "Active members" list. Please note that besides being a member of the main project, you also have the option to become a working member of a specialised WikiProject Football task force/sub-project. To join one of the current task forces/sub-projects, you only have to visit their dedicated project page and add your name to their local member list. If you at some point of time opt for that, we would appreciate if you also add this info in the "Active members" list.

We of course encourage all members of WikiProject Football to also promote their membership to other Wikipedians by adding the official Userbox template to their personal user page. This is fast and easy to do. You only need to add this line at your user page: {{User WikiProject Football}}, and you will find this wonderful green userbox displayed:

This user is a participant in WikiProject Football.

For those who later on will consider themselves as inactive contributors to WikiProject Football, we would appreciate if you accordingly also remember to move your name from the "Active members" list to the "Former members" list. As a general maintenance rule, all project members who fail to post any football related edits within the past 12 months will automatically be moved to the "Former members" list. If you have been listed as a former member but then decide to resume your activity in the WikiProject Football field, you are of course more than welcome to sign up again at the Active members list.
