Welcome to the Kingdom of Naples WikiProject. We are a group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of articles related to the Kingdom of Naples, a European country which existed from 1285 until 1816. Also covered by the project is the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies; which existed from 1816 until 1861, this was a merger of the Kingdom of Naples and Sicily.
This page and its subpages contain their suggestions and various resources; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians interested in the topic. If you would like to help, please join the project, inquire on the talk page and see the to-do list below.
- Goals
- The goal of this WikiProject is to provide complete coverage on subjects related to the Kingdom of Naples and Two Sicilies, by expanding articles on people, places, and things resident or native to the Kingdom of Naples and Two Sicilies.
- Scope
- This project proposes to work with all pages related to the Kingdom of Naples, its history, geography, and people. Additionally it covers the island of Sicily as part of the Two Sicilies but only for the time period of 1816 to 1861, we acknowledge the efforts and work of other projects such as WikiProject Sicily which covers Sicily throughout all of its general history. This project is in the scope of WikiProject Former countries.
