Atmosphaera

Atmosphaera planetae Iovis a Voyager I visa cum planetae propinquabatur.
Dividitur atmosphaera terrestris in quattuor tabulata: troposphaeram, stratosphaeram, mesosphaeram, ionosphaeram.

Atmosphaera (ex Graeco ἀτμός 'vapor'[1] + σφαῖρα 'sphaera'[2]) est gas iuxta astri superficiem vi gravitate retentum, sicut atmosphaera telluris.

Cum maior astri pars ex gasibus constituta sit, solum corium exterum atmosphaera appellatur. Atmosphaera Solis, exempli causa, appellatur regio extera ab opaca photosphaera incipiens.
