Tindouf (Berber: Tinduf, Arabic: تيندوف) is the main toun in Tindouf Province, Algerie, close tae the Mauritanian an Moroccan borders. The region is considered o strategic significance, an it hooses Algerian military bases. Since 1975, it an aa contains several Sahrawi refugee camps operatit bi the Polisario Front (see this article).
