Jenny Anne Durkan (born May 19, 1958) is an American politician. She was elected Mayor of Seattle in 2017, becoming its first female mayor since the 1920s and the city's second openly LGBT elected mayor.[1][2][3]
Durkan was the United States Attorney for the Western District of Washington, appointed by President Barack Obama, from October 2009 through September 2014.[4]
