There are 267 cities, 123 towns, and 21 villages in the state of Florida in the United States. It adds up to 411 incorporated municipalities. They are distributed across 67 counties, in addition to 66 county governments.[1] The government of Jacksonville is the only city council in the state that is also a county government.[2]
